The major centre to the east of Paris

Today, Marne-la-Vallée is one of the major built-up areas in the Ile-de-France region. The urban area is home to multinational corporations and the head offices of big-name companies, as well as a large number of research centres and a dense network of small and medium-sized businesses. Each year, scores of new companies set up or expand here. Much has been achieved already, but the potential for further development is even greater.
